Happy Birthday, sweet Charlie! Saturday was Charlie's 1st birthday, but we had his party Sunday afternoon. I made my little pig a pig cake, which he loved. I cannot believe that my little redheaded wonder is one! This year has flown by. Thanks to all of the family who made the trip to celebrate such a special day with us. Charlie, your mommy thinks the sun rises and sets in your sweet face. You were such a wanted child, and I am so thankful that I am lucky enough to be your mommy. You bring joy and light to everyone around you and you make my life so full. Your daddy, Chancellor, Lily and I love you so much and can't wait to spend each and everyday of our lives growing with you. Happy Birthday my love.
We are back from my conference in Hilton Head. Work went great and Travis was the BEST Mr. Mom for me while I was busy! Chancellor and Lily loved the beach of course and Charlie ate 10 handfuls of sand. He loves being in water and I think he may grow up wanting to sail the seas.
This Saturday Emily and I are hosting a Castles and Crowns party at her house in Camden. Later that evening we are having poker night at our house, complete with 7 kids!
Next Saturday, Charlie will be one. How fast a year goes when you are madly in love with a toothless, redhead! I'll try and post more often, hope everyone is having a great summer!
We had a great time in the mountains for the 4th of July. The kids loved being in the parade and chanting U-S-A, U-S-A! Lots of swimming, eating and late nights talking. We leave in the morning for Hilton Head and can't wait! See you in a week......
Charlie started walking this weekend! It is still very primitive/Frankenstein, but it is totally unassisted walking. He usually goes halfway to something and then drops down and decides to crawl the rest of the way. He just turned 11 months so this seems so early to me, considering Princess Lily didn't walk until she was 13 1/2 months old.
